CNC Machining Prototype & Assembly Welding

Project – Produce more than 500 individual CNC machined parts within 5 weeks

Problem – Different parts affect each other, and during our project review, our engineering team found that the parts interfered with each other during the assembly process.

Solution – We pointed out the problem to the customer who redrew the part before we started CNC machining the part.

The result – parts were produced, assembled, and shipped on time with no further issues.

Project Summary

The parts required for this project are not much, but the quantity is large, and the customer demand is 500 pieces per part. Parts are mutually influencing and we need to control the tolerances of the parts while also ensuring their quality and aesthetics. This was a big challenge for us, because usually a single part can be manufactured quickly, and this time the project took at least an hour to make a perfect part, and it could not be accelerated.

Due to the tight production timelines, our tolerances need to be accurate. Tolerance was a key factor in the success of the project. Although we have addressed some potential tolerance issues before machining begins, we still need to keep a close eye on the execution of QC machining to ensure that non-conforming parts don't waste time

LEAD TIME: 30 Days

A separate but related problem with assembling products is the inconvenience of packaging. The project is not complete until the customer has safely received the goods and confirmed that everything is in order.

Our customer's products are bent and need to be packed with special care so that they don't leak at both ends. The packaging is a good impression we give to our customers, and if the packaging is not good, the product will be damaged during transportation, which is very important, we can't be lazy in the packaging.
